2011 Fiery Foods and Barbecue Show

The Fiery Foods and Barbecue Show occurs March 4-6 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This year, the annual event hosts 200 vendors, bearing more than 1,ooo hot and spicy products, along wit a variety of chili sauces, and is expected to draw some 14,ooo attendees.

Build A Better Burger 2 – Stuff it

Build A Better Burger

OK braniacs – Burgers are simple. Buy Hamburg, slap into patty shape and toss ‘em on the grill, right? Hell no! Any schmuck can toss some cow cookies on a grill but if you’re reading bullylife you’re looking to be a cut above the other professional backyard enthusiasts so smarten up!

If you wanna break into the scene this summer as the king of burgers, you’re going to need to up your game and get your own meat grinder to start things off. Hand cranked, electric, gas powered, whatever floats your boat big guy. Owning your own meat grinder is step #1 to becoming a true burger-master. Added bonus – you’ll be able to make your own sausage too. How badass is the guy who brings his own homemade recipe for brats to the big game? Answer – that dude’s all kinds of Bill Brasky Badass.

So here’s the deal ya jamokes, go buy a meat grinder and report back with your first take on making your own better burgers. Here’s a tip from the pros: try making a burger with some brisket. A traditional best bet is a 50/50 blend of ground chuck and ground sirloin. The beauty of the meat grinder is being able to come up with your own custom recipes using different cuts of beef or other meats very easily. Heck, why don’t you go mix up some sirloin, chuck, brisket and bacon and let us know how that goes?

Maximum PC: BBQ Hard Drive

Nathan (from Maximum PC) attempts to confirm IoSafe‘s claim that its SoloPro external hard drive can withstand temperatures over 1500 degrees Fahrenheit by throwing it on a bed of charcoal and seeing if he can still read data from the device. Just for good measure, he also tests IoSafe‘s claim that the hard drive is also water resistant. We like this guy, he knows how to BullyLife!
